Terms of Service

Welcome to Your Classroom Academy ("the Academy," "we," "us"). By subscribing to our professional learning programs, you ("Subscriber," "you") agree to the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Introduction
Your Classroom Academy provides professional learning resources, instructional strategies, coaching, and online community for educators and school leaders. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the services.
2. Definitions
● Subscriber: an individual or entity subscribing to the Academy.
● Roster: our online community and resource platform for individual educators, including strategy slide decks, rubrics, live sessions, discussion spaces, and the growth dashboard.
● The ARC Model: our schoolwide professional learning program, delivered to a campus or district under a separate agreement.
● Services: all professional learning materials, strategies, slide decks, rubrics, dashboards, live sessions, coaching, and community spaces provided by the Academy.
● Academy Content: all materials we create and provide, including slide decks, guides, rubrics, videos, and dashboards.
● Member Content: anything a Subscriber posts, uploads, or shares inside Roster, including discussion posts, comments, and self-check reflections.
3. Eligibility
Subscribers must be educators, administrators, instructional coaches, or authorized representatives of a school or district, and must provide accurate and complete registration information. Subscribers must be at least 18 years old.
4. Subscription Plans and Fees
Individual Roster membership:
● Monthly: $20 per month.
● Annual: $200 per year.
Schoolwide programs:
● Schoolwide access is priced by the number of staff taking part and is quoted individually. Schoolwide agreements are set out in a separate written agreement or invoice, which governs where it differs from these Terms.
Optional add-ons:
● One-to-one coaching: $45 for a 30-minute session, $75 for a 60-minute session. Sessions are purchased separately and are not included in membership.
● University credit through the University of San Diego is optional, is paid directly to the university, and is not included in membership. See Section 10.
Prices are in US dollars and may change. Any change to the price of an existing subscription will be communicated before it takes effect and will apply from the next renewal.
5. Billing, Renewal and Cancellation
Monthly and annual memberships renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal date.
You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for.
6. Refunds
Full refunds are available within 14 days of purchase. To request one, email us at info@yourclassroomacademy.com within that window.
After 14 days, we do not refund the unused portion of a subscription period. Cancelling stops future charges and you keep access through the end of the period you have paid for.
Schoolwide agreements and one-to-one coaching sessions have their own terms, set out at the time of purchase.
7. Use of Academy Content
You may:
● Use Academy Content for your own teaching and professional learning.
● Adapt, edit, and customize slide decks, rubrics, and templates for use with your own students. Many of our materials are designed to be modified, and doing so is expected.
● Print and distribute materials to students in your own classroom.
You may not:
● Share your login credentials or give access to anyone else. Individual memberships are for one educator.
● Redistribute, resell, or publish Academy Content outside your own school, including on lesson-sharing marketplaces or public websites.
● Remove our branding or present Academy Content as your own work.
● Use Academy Content to deliver paid professional development to others without a written agreement with us.
If you are unsure whether a use is permitted, please ask. We would rather have the conversation than find out afterwards.
8. Roster Community and Member Content
Roster includes discussion spaces where Subscribers post and comment. You retain ownership of your Member Content.
By posting inside Roster, you grant the Academy a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your Member Content within the platform so other members can see it, and to store it as part of operating the service.
We will not publish your name, your school, or identifiable details outside Roster without your permission. If we would like to quote something you wrote in our marketing, we will ask you first.
You are responsible for what you post. Do not post student names, student work that identifies a student, confidential personnel information, or anything you do not have the right to share.
If you cancel, your posts remain visible inside Roster unless you ask us to remove them. Email us and we will delete them.
9. Community Conduct
Roster works because teachers are honest about what is not going well. To protect that, Subscribers agree to:
● Treat other members with respect, including when disagreeing.
● Keep what other members share inside the community. Do not screenshot or repost another member's content elsewhere.
● Refrain from harassment, discriminatory language, spam, or promoting unrelated products or services.
We may remove content or end a membership for conduct that breaches this section. Where we end a membership for conduct, we will refund the unused portion of the current period.
10. University Credit
Subscribers may optionally enrol in university extension credit through the University of San Diego. This is a separate arrangement between you and the university.
● Credit is earned by completing the required number of self-check reflections within the enrolment period.
● Fees for credit are paid directly to the university and are not part of your Academy subscription.
● The Academy does not award credit, does not guarantee that any district will accept it for salary advancement, and does not refund university fees.
● If you cancel your membership before completing the requirements, you may not be able to earn the credit. University fees already paid are subject to the university's refund policy, not ours.
11. One-to-One Coaching
Coaching sessions are booked through our scheduling system and paid for separately.
● Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.
● Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, are not refunded.
● Coaching conversations are confidential. We will not share what you discuss with your administrator or anyone at your school unless you ask us to.
12. Growth Dashboard and Data
The Academy collects data to operate the service and to show you your own progress. This includes self-check responses, strategies tried, confidence ratings, and usage of the platform.
Individual Subscribers see their own dashboard. Where a school or district participates as a whole, designated school representatives may see aggregated progress for their site, and may see individual teacher progress only where that teacher has opted in.
Data shared through the dashboard must comply with applicable privacy laws. Do not enter student names or student-identifying information into any Academy system.
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Availability and Changes to the Services
We release new strategies and materials on a schedule published inside Roster. We may change, add, or retire specific features, sessions, or materials over time.
We aim to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Roster runs on third-party infrastructure and occasional downtime is outside our control.
14. Termination
You may end your subscription at any time as described in Section 5.
We may suspend or end access if a Subscriber breaches these Terms, including unauthorized sharing of Academy Content or conduct that breaches Section 9. Where we end access for a breach that is not conduct-related, refunds are at our discretion.
15. Limitation of Liability
The Academy provides professional learning resources. We are not liable for specific educational outcomes, teacher retention, evaluation results, or student performance. Subscribers use the Services at their own discretion.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States of America. Any disputes will be resolved in California.
17. Updates to These Terms
We may modify these Terms. We will notify Subscribers of material changes by email or through the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
