Who Roster is for
The slides are only the beginning.
Your prep program could not have prepared you for the realities of the classroom, and you check in with your mentor once a week. Roster gives you a room full of teachers to ask in between.
Use the ready-made resources, then talk about how it went in your classroom. That is it. Share consistently and you earn two graduate units through the University of San Diego. The quick self-checks update your Data Dashboard automatically and keep track of your strategies for you.
In a rural or small school there may be nobody else teaching your subject. Roster puts you in a room with teachers at other sites working the same strategy in the same month.
Teaching is strangely lonely work. What is missing isn't more material. It's people, and a place to put the work.

How it works

- Get your certificate.Finish the semester's work and receive a certificate of completion.
- Claim your units.Buy the units from USD and email them your certificate.
Unit fees are paid to USD and are separate from your Roster membership. Continuing Education Units are also available. Units do not apply toward a USD degree. Always confirm with your district or university that they will accept the units before you enroll.

Before you join.
Is this only for teachers?
No. Instructional coaches and administrators get their own spaces, plus everything teachers get.
What if I join in January?
You get everything unlocked to that point, immediately. The Welcome space has a start-here path so you are not staring at a full library wondering where to begin.
What grade levels is this for?
K–12, in math, ELA and reading, science, and social studies. Elementary comes as K–2 and grades 3–5 decks that cover all four subjects, since elementary teachers teach all of them. Middle and high school get a separate deck for each content area.
How much time does this take?
As much time as you want. If you are earning units you do need to submit self-checks, but how many strategies you try in your classroom is your call. The 20 strategies in Tier 1 can take one year, two years, or longer. It is completely up to you.
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime. Cancelling stops your next renewal and you keep access through the end of the period you have paid for. Full refunds are available within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, annual plans are not refunded for the unused portion.
Is the USD credit required?
No. It is optional, costs extra, and goes through USD directly.
Do I need my school to pay for this?
No. You can pay for the subscription yourself. There is also a form you can use to request that your school covers the cost, so just ask for it once you have signed up.
